Town of Bethany Announces Online Land Use Permitting System
Bethany, Connecticut – First Selectman Carol Goldberg is pleased to announce the launch of a comprehensive Online Land Use Permitting System, modernizing and streamlining the way residents and contractors submit and manage permit applications.
The Town has contracted with PermitLink, a trusted provider serving several municipalities throughout Connecticut, to implement the new platform. The system replaces the current paper-based, in-person submission process.
All Land Use permits—including Zoning, Inland Wetlands, and Building permits—will now be processed through the new online system. In addition, land use complaints may be submitted electronically.
The Online Land Use Permitting System is designed to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accessibility. Residents, property owners, and contractors are now able to submit applications, upload supporting documentation, pay applicable fees, and monitor the status of their applications in real time.
“This transition represents an important step forward in improving customer service and modernizing municipal operations,” said CZEO, Curtis Bosco. “By moving to an online platform, we are making the permitting process more convenient, transparent, and accessible for the community.”
